Hi, I'm Maxime (Max) Tabatruong, a former ATP World No. 360, UCLA standout, and coach to ATP Tour Champion Marcos Giron. I'm dedicated to helping players of all ages and skill levels improve their game through personalized, professional coaching tailored to each individual's goals.
Originally from Paris, France, I moved to the United States to play collegiate tennis at UCLA, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
Following college, I competed professionally on the ATP Tour, reaching a career-high ranking of ATP World No. 360. During my professional tennis career, I won multiple international tournaments and earned victories over top players, including Jannik Sinner and Andrey Rublev.
After retiring from professional competition, I transitioned into coaching and have worked with ATP professional Marcos Giron since 2020. During that time, Marcos won his first ATP Tour title, achieved a career-high ranking of No. 37, represented Team USA in the Davis Cup, and competed in two Olympic Games.
Today, my passion is helping players reach their full potential. Whether you're picking up a racquet for the first time or competing at a high level, every lesson is tailored to your individual goals. Together, we'll develop stronger technique, smarter strategy, greater consistency, and the confidence needed to perform your best on the court.
My goal is simple: help you improve faster, play better, and enjoy tennis even more.
